About Dr. Nate Leer

Nate has spent his life learning what it truly takes to move well, feel strong, and stay healthy. A lifelong athlete and former collegiate wrestler, Nate’s experiences dealing with injuries and pain sparked his interest in finding realistic solutions to healing, and thriving.

Nate earned his degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey, with plans to go into teaching. But his path shifted when he joined the U.S. Coast Guard, where he trained in helicopter search and rescue in California. The physical demands of this role deepened his understanding of recovery, resilience, and the importance of staying healthy in high-stakes environments.

After completing his service, Nate returned home to New Jersey with a mission: to serve his community through smarter, more effective care. He became a chiropractor with a focus on sports medicine and functional rehabilitation—combining hands-on therapy, movement-based treatment, and advanced modalities like NEUBIE stimulation and shockwave therapy.

Now, as the founder of Leer Motion Therapy in Bordentown, NJ, Dr. Leer offers one-on-one, hour-long sessions designed around each individual’s needs and goals. His philosophy is simple: you don’t need to be an athlete to receive elite care. Everyone deserves focused, high-quality treatment that builds strength, reduces pain, and restores confidence in movement.

Whether you're recovering from injury, trying to get stronger, or just want to feel better in your everyday life, Dr. Nate Leer is here to help you put in the work, and move better, for life.

What happens in an hour at LMT?

Each one-hour session is fully dedicated to you. We’ll start by discussing your pain, goals, and lifestyle, then assess your range of motion and movement patterns to find the root of the issue. From there, your session may include soft tissue work, adjustments, and advanced tools like NEUBIE or shockwave therapy to speed up healing and reduce pain. We’ll finish with functional rehab tailored to your needs—whether that means squats, deadlifts, movement drills, or breathwork to rebuild strength, stability, and connection to your body.
